WHAT IS A LOVE FEST?
The ultimate celebration of all things wedding! This is not your average, boring, stuffy networking event - we're talking wedding vendor invite only fancy dinners, long long lunches, and sometimes epic two-day extravaganzas that are jam-packed with fun, food, and amazing live music by outstanding local talent - providing the perfect soundtrack to an awesome time. Oh and of course the after party (this is where the weird and wonderful dance moves come out and some of your new best friends are found).
The wedding industry is a special one. We have an incredible mix of humans that are both cheerleader and competition all at the same time. We believe that it's essential for all wedding vendors to connect, share ideas, and build relationships, and what better way to do it than over delicious food and drink at some of the most stunning venues in Australia.

THE TROPIC LOVE FEST // SEPTEMBER 2023
Tuesday 12th September was a vibe and it was everything we could have wanted and more.
The Tropic was filled with an incredible amount of talent from photographers to celebrants and stylists, florists, prop hire specialists, musicians, beauty experts, designers, venue managers & sweet treat connoisseurs.
We had generous giveaways from @luvlou._ @fizzfunctional @nouvelleglass @lemac.eyeartistry @wedshed & a pair of fun heart sunnies for all from @thewholebride
Our tables were styled to perfection and we all enjoyed live music whilst we sunned ourselves overlooking Burleigh beach, sipped on cocktails, indulged in very substantial canapés and an amazing alternate drop for our lunch.
There was fairy floss, a 360 photobooth, some inspiring guest speakers & gift bags. We even had whales breaching when the sun was setting. A Love Fest is a networking event, without the boring bits.
It is an event where we bring the wedding industry together for a day to experience a wedding like event, where we (the vendors) are the guests. These events are a luxe, fun and engaging way to catch up with industry besties or make new ones.
A Love Fest is an event you didn't know you needed, and once you've been to one, you'll be counting down the days ‘til the next one. Thank you SEQ / Northern Rivers, you have welcomed us with open arms & we are excited for all that is to come!!

MANLY PAVILION LOVE FEST // MAY 2023
The ocean was calling, and the wedding industry was ready to answer. In May 2023, the Manly Pavilion played host to the most epic Love Fest that Sydney and the Central Coast had ever seen. Over 130 of the best wedding vendors in the game were ready to let their hair down, share some laughs, and maybe even talk a little shop.
From the moment they arrived, everyone could feel that this was going to be different. The salty breeze from the ocean and the stunning views of the coastline set the perfect backdrop for a day of networking and fun. And boy, did we have some fun!
The theme for the day was all about bringing people together. We wanted to create an environment where people could be themselves, make new connections, and celebrate the end of an incredible wedding season. So we pulled out all the stops. There was food, there were drinks, and there was music to get everyone moving. But most importantly, there were people who genuinely cared about each other and the industry they are a part of.
As the day turned to night, the sun set behind us and the city lights started to twinkle in the distance. And the party really started to come alive. The after party featured many a margarita, DJs spinning tunes that got everyone dancing, and a real sense of camaraderie.
It was amazing to see all these people, vendors, artists in their own right, coming together in one place to celebrate the work they do and the people they do it for. There were florists, photographers, planners, stylists, HMUA, caterers, pastry chefs, musicians, celebrants and more, all with their unique talents and stories to tell. And as everyone mingled, sipping on glasses of bubbly and enjoying the ocean views, there was a real sense that something special was happening.
Some came for the networking opportunities, some came to make new friends, and some just came to let loose and have a good time. But no matter what brought them there, everyone left with a little something extra in their hearts. It was a reminder that this industry, this community, is something truly special. And we can't wait to do it all over again!
BEBEAH FARM LOVE FEST // JULY 2020
Once upon a time, in the middle of the crazy 2020 lockdowns, something magical happened. A Love Fest was born, brought to life by Days Like These Events and 30 of the best wedding vendors out there.
It was a cold and misty July, and the world was a bit upside down. Weddings were getting postponed left and right, and everyone was feeling a little lost and disconnected. But DLT saw an opportunity to create something different, something special.
And so the Love Fest was born.
For two glorious days we gathered at Bebeah Farm in Yarramalong, a DIY wedding venue, and let our creativity explode. The theme was BoHo, of course, expressed in all its forms. There were flowers, there were cakes, and there were dresses that made you want to twirl around with joy. And we all got to be there together, supplier and guest, friend and collaborator, celebrating each other’s talents.
It wasn't just a styled shoot, although we certainly did a pretty fab job at that. It was a chance to network, to connect, to share ideas and digest the unknown future of our industry. Every vendor there was a true legend, a master of their craft, and we all learned so much from each other. It was like getting a front-row seat to the most amazing show, where everyone was a star.
There was music, cocktails, laughter and a few D&M’s by the fire pit - because when you put 60 passionate people together on an open field during a partial lockdown (legally, we were allowed there for work purposes!) it was bound to happen. We were all in it together, making something beautiful. And the best part was, we got to bring that magic back out into the world, and share it with our clients and other vendor friends. We knew that no matter what 2020 brought, we had a piece of something truly special to hold onto.
Looking back on that Love Fest, it's hard to believe it was real. But the pictures don't lie - the love, the joy, the creativity, it's all right there. And we'll always be grateful for that opportunity to come together, to be inspired, to remind ourselves why we do what we do.
